So, as mentioned above, the reason that I am
starting this blog is to share my experiences encountered as a traveler,
including preparation for my trip which encompasses what I went thru to make my
flight bookings, research accommodation and planning our activities. I will also be sharing my tips &
advice on which websites, apps and tools to use!
The funny thing is I have traveled extensively including solo trips to Paris, India and Australia yet, I
found my upcoming trip to Japan (specifically Tokyo and Osaka) so daunting!
Perhaps it is due to the multitude of choices available to a traveler …. One
can go crazy just looking at hundreds of accommodation options just to find a
good place to call home for the duration of one’s trip!
Why Japan? Well, I have heard
so much about this country from family & friends, my younger son loves
anime and Japanese culture, we love Japanese cuisine plus honestly, Japan used
to be a country out of my travel budget. (LOL, with the amount of money I have
spent so far, it may still well be!)
So sit back, relax and enjoy the crazy story of our ups and downs as we traveled to Japan to Eat, Explore and Experience!
Disclaimer: This blog is entirely a private record of our family trip to Japan. As mentioned, I have spent the most time and effort planning this vacation so, I thought that it would be great to write it all down for reference and to help others.

Ok ...... legal stuff out of the way ...... 日本、ここに来る!
(Nihon, koko ni kuru
means Japan, here we come!)
